The Impact Of GenAI On Platform Engineering

June 16th, 2025 at 1:00 pm EST

In this technical webinar, we’ll explore the emerging intersection of GenAI and platform engineering. We’ll start by unpacking the evolving AI infrastructure stack—from foundational models and vector databases to orchestration layers and observability for LLM workloads.

Next, we’ll dive into the operational implications: Who owns this stack? How do you structure teams, enablement layers, and governance to support rapid and secure AI adoption?

Finally, we’ll look at the developer experience: how an internal developer platform (IDP) can surface GenAI capabilities—helping developers find and experiment with prompts, choose the right models, use playgrounds, and seamlessly integrate AI tools such as MCP in their day-to-day development environment.
